چکیده
Magnesium (Mg) is an element involved in various key cellular processes plants. Mg transporter (MGT) genes play important role magnesium distribution and ionic balance maintenance. Here, MGT family members were identified characterized three species of the plant Malvaceae, Theobroma cacao, Corchorus capsularis, Gossypium hirsutum, to improve our understanding their structure, regulatory systems, functions, possible interactions. We 18, 41, 16 putative non-redundant from genome T. G. C. respectively, which clustered into groups maximum likelihood tree. Several segmental/tandem duplication events determined between genes. MGTs appear have evolved slowly under a purifying selection. Analysis gene promoter regions showed that high potential respond biotic/abiotic stresses hormones. The expression patterns revealed response P. megakarya fungi whereas differential tissues several abiotic stresses, including cold, salt, drought, heat stress hirsutum. co-expression network indicated auxin-responsive lipid metabolism, cell wall organization, photoprotection can interact with MGTs.

The Glutathione Peroxidase Gene Family in Gossypium hirsutum: Genome-Wide Identification, Classification, Gene Expression and Functional Analysis
The plant glutathione peroxidase (GPX) family consists of multiple isoenzymes with distinct subcellular locations, tissue-specific expression patterns and environmental stress responses. In this study, 13 putative GPXs from the genome of Gossypium hirsutum (GhGPXs) were identified and a conserved pattern among plant GPXs were exhibited, besides this they also responded to multiple environmental...
متن کاملBioinformatics Genome-Wide Characterization of the WRKY Gene Family in Sorghum bicolor
The WRKY gene family encodes a large group of transcription factors that regulate genes involved in plant response to biotic and abiotic stresses. Sorghum is a notable grain and forage crop in semi-arid regions because of its unusual tolerance against hot and dry environments. We identified a set of 85 WRKY genes in the S. bicolor genome and classified them into three groups (I–III). Among the ...
متن کاملIdentification and characterization of the GhHsp20 gene family in Gossypium hirsutum
In higher plants, Heat Shock Protein 20 (Hsp20) plays crucial roles in growth, development and responses to abiotic stresses. In this study, 94 GhHsp20 genes were identified in G. hirsutum, and these genes were phylogenetically clustered into 14 subfamilies. Out of these, 73 paralogous gene pairs remained in conserved positions on segmental duplicated blocks and only 14 genes clustered into sev...
متن کاملIdentification and characterization of CONSTANS-like (COL) gene family in upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
The CONSTANS/FLOWERING LOCUS T (CO/FT) regulon plays a central role in the control of flowering time in photoperiod-sensitive plants. Flowering time in wild cotton (Gossypium spp.) has strict photoperiod sensitivity, but domesticated cotton is day-neutral. Information on the molecular characterization of the CO and CO-like (COL) genes in cotton is very limited. In this study, we identified 42 C...
متن کاملGenome-Wide Identification of the MIKC-Type MADS-Box Gene Family in Gossypium hirsutum L. Unravels Their Roles in Flowering
Cotton is one of the major world oil crops. Cottonseed oil meets the increasing demand of fried food, ruminant feed, and renewable bio-fuels. MADS intervening keratin-like and C-terminal (MIKC)-type MADS-box genes encode transcription factors that have crucial roles in various plant developmental processes. Nevertheless, this gene family has not been characterized, nor its functions investigate...
